Hi, my name is Łukasz, and I do IT stuff for a living.
I have over 13 years of experience in the IT industry - from software architecture and development, through system administration, people and project management, to IT support. I am a big fan of modern web development technologies. For over five years, I was actively involved in Open Source projects. I wrote my first computer program in BASIC for a Commodore 64 microcomputer when I was 12.
Over the years of a professional and personal journey through the IT world, there are a lot of situations when you need to write down and store for future reference some solution, how-to, or just a cheat sheet. As a New Year resolution, I decided I would start doing it in some more organized why. Foremost just for myself, no pressure, no agenda, no scheduled posts. On the other hand, it is available online, ready to be shared with anybody who wants to read it or find it useful. If it is for you - enjoy it!
The plan is that it would not be yet another IT or technology related blog, at least not only related to modern technology. You could also expect some texts dedicated to electronics and some pop-culture - TV series, movies, books. Maybe even some articles about soft skills, management, etc.
From a technical point of view, initially, all texts are written in Markdown, and this site is using Hugo, a high-speed and flexible static website generator, to build a structure of HTML documents. There would be no comments or any other user-generated content.
